The U.S. women\u2019s table tennis roster features veteran Lily Zhang (28) alongside rising players Rachel Sung (20) and Amy Wang (21).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Official records show that Lily Zhang was born in Redwood, California, to a Chinese-American family. Her father is a mathematics professor at Stanford University, and her mother is a former table tennis player for China’s Xi\u2019an province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
