As the video contains a clip of only three helicopters, we have inquired about this from several relevant parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Defense Ministry<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We inquired the Defense Ministry about this, and they mentioned that President did not use a single helicopter to go to Jaffna on the 31<sup>st<\/sup> and that he went on a car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below is a statement released by them&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXcRYyNlZhxtpk4TNaDvYSFOIwRNYr7xtbqeIU5MwFhoReEX8VxUgTKSLtiVML52IWgNb0afpzSm4GkHI7p4u42Ho3p36V3ZCum7nw4lu-KO77QJ-daPaFxXZC1DtJ5tG4GHwnlgOPtndbqPJg0NkTU?key=qIBaxpVYfZtgzFc5BVMRxaRz\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Air Force Spokesman<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air Force Media Spokesman Group Captain Eranda Geeganage also confirmed during our inquiry that the President did not use any aircraft for his trip to Jaffna. He pointed out that the MI 17 and 412 aircrafts shown in the above video are not used for the National Independence Day.
