Yet another claim said that the actor was killed in a tragic road accident along with his wife. Fact Crescendo investigated the claim by running image reverse search and consulting reliable reports from reputable international media outlets, which led to the following findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By using Google Reverse Image Search to verify whether the images associated with the claims above are related to the incidents leading to Jason Statham’s death, we found that these images are not connected to the English actor. All the images are from events that occurred years before the claim circulated on social media platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jason Statham, 57, is a renowned English actor best known for his roles in action films. Given his international fame, any news of his death would be widely reported by major global media outlets, particularly by leading entertainment networks in the United States and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, a Google search to see if there are any news reports about Jason Statham\u2019s death shows no reliable information at all. Several media outlets had reported on the upcoming movies of the film star.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After checking Jason\u2019s official Facebook page, we found that no announcement of his death has been posted on social media. His latest post on his Instagram account, three days ago on 14th<\/sup> July, shows Jason Statham and his family recently enjoying a vacation in Positano, a coastal municipality in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a report<\/a> (archived<\/a>) from an Australia-based media outlet, no public statement from Jason Statham\u2019s family has been found in connection with this claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report also stated that the claim is a hoax, widely circulated on social media using the names of various celebrities, including prominent figures from the football industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, this claim was investigated by an Australian fact-checking outlet, and Agata Stepnik, a digital expert at the University of Sydney, was quoted in the AAP report, saying that these hoaxes and false claims can be used for fraud and scams in addition to their clickbait purpose.
