According to confirmed official sources, the clash left one inmate dead and seven others injured. See coverage from Ada Derana<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Prisoners’ Rights Protection Committee Made No Such Claim<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Had 81 inmates truly died, or had prisoners been shot with their hands bound, bodies such as the Prisoners’ Rights Protection Committee would certainly have spoken out. Our investigation found that neither the committee nor any other organization has claimed this.
