In this video, Nirmala Sitharaman can be seen greeting and speaking with an elderly person. Users claim that Nirmala Sitharaman can be seen interacting with her father in the video during her official visit to her hometown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Social Media Posts<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The caption of the viral post states, \u201cIndian finance minister meeting her father in his house. Look at the house condition. The caption of the video states, \u201cSiva Madam is the place where Mahakavi Bharathiyar stayed during his visit to Varanasi in the 1900s.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/hashtag\/kashitamilsangamam?__eep__=6%2F&amp;__tn__=*NK\">#KashiTamilSangamam<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=476&#038;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fnirmala.sitharaman%2Fvideos%2F848501199631083%2F&#038;show_text=true&#038;width=269&#038;t=0\" width=\"269\" height=\"591\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowFullScreen=\"true\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Keeping this in mind, we did a keyword search on Google and found that Nirmala Sitharaman also posted this video on her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Clu0QkZuga1\/\">Instagram<\/a> account on 4 December 2022. It states that she visited Siva Madam in Varanasi and interacted with the family members of Mahakavi Bharathiar, including his 96-year-old nephew Mr. K.V. Krishnan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The caption states, \u201cVisited Siva Madam in Varanasi yesterday and interacted with the family members of Mahakavi Bharathiyar, including his 96-year-old great nephew Shri K. She did not mention anywhere that she met her father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, recently a one-month program, <a href=\"https:\/\/pib.gov.in\/PressReleaseIframePage.aspx?PRID=1877338\">&#8216;Kashi Tamil Sangamam&#8217;<\/a>was organized in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. This video is from when Nirmala Sitharaman attended it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Going further into the investigation, we found photographs of Nirmala Sitharaman&#8217;s parents, Savitri Sitharaman and Narayanan Sitharaman, published in the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/kw7g0-gY4i4?t=23\">ABP News<\/a> report. This report was broadcast on 5 July 2019. The report states that these pictures were taken when Nirmala Sitharaman presented her first budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><iframe title=\"Proud Moment!
