Fact Crescendo team reviewed and verified the above claim through a Google Reverse Image Search, which brought us to the following facts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We found several identical video clips showing the scene of a badminton game above, which were published by many media outlets and websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An exact video of a badminton match was found and posted on YouTube<\/a>, an American online video sharing and social media platform headquartered in San Bruno, California, United States, on March 28, 2023. The video does not, however, feature a real robot. It was digitally modified to include an animated character instead of a real person using a visual effects program driven by AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The original video depicted Yang Wang, a player from Slovakia, and Pavel Sirucek, a player from the Czech Republic, at this year’s European Championships on March 22 in the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following video shows the exact and real video of a badminton match, which does not show the robot playing against the human player at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
