Amidst these circumstances, a concerning trend has emerged &#8211; the prevalence of online scams.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the ongoing recovery efforts, there is a noticeable increase in fraudulent activities, and social media users, whether knowingly or unknowingly, are contributing to the dissemination of these scams. Peoples Bank has not authorized any third party to request customer details to create online or digital accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peoples Bank has warned customers about these scams through its official channels, including its Facebook page.
