Read more in the first comment.&#8221; The first comment contains a link to an article from <a href=\"https:\/\/dailynews1.press\/2023\/12\/10\/breaking-elon-musk-is-times-person-of-the-year-2023\/?fbclid=IwAR1hiUk7SzQVVMRse_EKgf2wc5SF-G7Q7dCxUcQ3udemjozL2tMo4iUpCvc\">Daily News 1 Press<\/a> with the headline: &#8220;Breaking: Elon Musk Is Time\u2019s Person Of The Year. The\u00a0article\u00a0opens by saying that in a \u201cmomentous turn of events,\u201d Musk was named Person of the Year, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/english.factcrescendo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/image-31.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19165\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo?fbid=666143408968673&amp;set=a.412095301040153\">Facebook Post<\/a> |<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/screenshot-www.facebook.com-2023.12.23-16_05_26\">Archive link<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fact Check-<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>At first, we checked for the news regarding the Time Person of the Year 2023, and we found on 5 December 2023, TIME announced that Taylor Swift, an American singer-songwriter, had been selected as the Person of the Year for 2023. The front page archive for 2023 editions also can be seen below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/english.factcrescendo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/image-30-1024x405.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19164\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/vault\/year\/2022\/\">Time Vault<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TIME Magazine has also shared magazine covers with the caption: &#8220;Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) is TIME&#8217;s 2023 Person of the Year.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/TIME\/status\/1732379462644220275\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Conducting a reverse Image Search of the magazine cover in the viral image, we found that Musk was named Time Person of the Year in\u00a02021. The magazine cover in the article matches the one in the viral post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/english.factcrescendo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/image-19.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19163\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Performing a reverse image search of the other image of Elon Musk holding his son led us to the original image on Getty Images. The description reads, &#8220;NEW YORK &#8211; DECEMBER 13: Elon Musk and son X \u00c6 A-12 on stage at TIME Person of the Year on December 13, 2021, in New York City.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/english.factcrescendo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/image-29.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19162\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Taylor <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/6342806\/person-of-the-year-2023-taylor-swift\/\">Swift<\/a>\u00a0was the magazine\u2019s choice for Person of the Year, not Elon Musk, nor is he listed in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/6341947\/person-of-the-year-2023-shortlist\/\">shortlist<\/a>\u00a0published by Time.
