This is also commonly known as the Raimondi Cove plant. This plant was named after the Italian scientist Antonio Raimondi. This plant is the largest species of bromeliad. This plant has been categorised as an Endangered species in the IUCN Red List. This plant's main threats are fires caused by humans, climate change, and declining genetic diversity.
