1. No Coverage by Mainstream Media

We began by checking reliable and mainstream news outlets for any reports on this alleged incident. However, none of the reputed media outlets have published news regarding death threats to Marians' members.

2. Dasatha News Denies Involvement

The viral social media posts featured the Dasatha News logo, implying that the news was reported by this media organization. However, upon reviewing Dasatha News' website and social media channels, we found no such report. In fact, Dasatha News made a public statement confirming that they have not reported this story and that their logo was being misused in these viral posts.

3. Statement from Nalin Perera’s Manager

We reached out to the manager of Nalin Perera for clarification. According to him, the viral post is entirely false. He confirmed that Nalin Perera did not make any statement about Subash and Rosa receiving death threats. Furthermore, he emphasized that neither of the Marians' members has received any death threats. The manager did mention that Subash and Rosa had been subjected to criticism in the comment sections of social media posts, but there has been no escalation to threats or violence.
