This viral video https://globalpillpharmacy.com/unveiling-the-latest-new-movies-streaming.html does not depict the launch of Chandrayaan 3. This is a video of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch that took place in December 2022.

India's latest lunar exploration mission, Chandrayaan-3, was launched on July 14. The main aim of the project is to explore the elusive South Pole of the Moon.

With worldwide attention on the Chandrayaan-3 mission, several videos were shared as the launch of this historic mission. Adding to this, a video claiming to be the launch of Chandrayaan 3, filmed by a passenger from a Chennai-bound flight, has gone viral on social media.

Chandrayaan-3 Mission

India launched its third lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft lifted off from India's Sriharikota space station on Friday, July 14 (09:05 GMT). Consisting of a lander and a rover, Chandrayaan-3 is scheduled to reach the moon on August 23-24.

If successful, India will become the fourth country to perform a soft landing on the moon after the USA, the former Soviet Union of Russia and China.

Chandrayaan-3, developed by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), aims to land safely on the lunar surface, collect data and conduct a series of scientific experiments to learn more about the composition of the moon. International media reports published in this regard can be found here, here , here and here .

Chandrayaan-03 was completed at a cost of less than $75 million, which can be considered a cost-effective cost compared to the hugely expensive American rockets.

The Indian media had calculated the cost of this space travel as 04 lakh Indian rupees per kilometre. The 3921 kg lunar rocket weighs 642 tons.

Also earlier, India launched Chandrayaan-2 in 2020, successfully entered the moon's orbit but was destroyed while landing on the moon's surface and lost communications.

The updates issued by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) on the Chandrayaan-3 mission can be reached here, and the mission is in progress as planned so far, with the latest updates stating that the fourth orbit-raising manoeuvre (Earth-bound perigee firing) was performed successfully.
