The Lebanese director of the film, Mahmoud Ramzi, uploaded the actual film, "The Reality," to his Instagram account on October 28, 2023. The film is not intended to look like actual footage of the conflict.

On October 29, 2023, an actor in the film, Rami Jardali, posted the behind-the-scenes footage to Instagram with the caption "Backstage Reality.
