Fact Check

To verify the video, we conducted a reverse image search and examined the keyframes. Our investigation revealed that the footage does not relate to the 2025 India-Pakistan conflict. Instead, it shows Pakistan Independence Day celebrations in Manchester, UK, which took place in August 2024.

We traced the original video to a post by the Britain First party on X, dated September 2024. he party used the clip to criticize what they claimed was unfair treatment by British police towards British natives compared to foreigners. The original post can be viewed here:

Additional evidence was found on YouTube, where American Muslim Today covered the same event. A YouTube Short uploaded by the outlet shows UK police celebrating Pakistan’s Independence Day with the local community.

A different angle of the same event, also available on TikTok, further confirms this was a past celebration unrelated to the recent conflict.

Recent Conflict Background

The latest round of conflict between India and Pakistan began on May 7, 2025, when India launched Operation Sindoor, targeting alleged militant hideouts in Pakistan after a terror attack in Kashmir killed 26 civilians. Pakistan reported 31 civilian casualties and accused India of hitting mosques. In retaliation, Pakistan claimed it downed Indian aircraft and launched drone and missile strikes. Although a ceasefire was reached by May 10, tensions remain high, and misinformation has been widespread on both sides of the border. (Source: CNN)
