Fact Check

We began investigating the video’s origin by using reverse image search. While the original source remains unclear, the same footage of Justin Bieber has repeatedly appeared in AI-generated videos across the internet. These include humorous memes (example) and deceptive marketing content that falsely shows Bieber endorsing products (example 1, example 2).

Given that these altered versions have been circulating for over a year, it is highly likely that the current viral video claiming he will testify is also manipulated. This pattern of reusing the same clip to fabricate new narratives reinforces the conclusion that the footage is not authentic.

This further shows how Bieber’s footage has been reused to promote unrelated content.

We also ran the video through Deepware Scanner, a tool used to detect AI-generated manipulation. The scanner flagged the clip as “deepfake detected” with 95% confidence, while additional models like Seferbekov and Ensemble marked it as “suspicious.” These results, combined with the video’s history of reuse in unrelated contexts and its unnatural voice-syncing, provide strong evidence that the footage has been digitally manipulated.

Moreover, no reputable news outlets, including BBC, CBS News, and entertainment sites like IMDb, have reported Bieber’s involvement in Diddy’s trial. Rather, many sources confirm that Bieber has distanced himself from Diddy during these legal troubles (read more here).

P Diddy’s Case

According to BBC News, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial started on May 13, 2025. He faces allegations of operating a sex trafficking ring, and his lawyers are working to challenge parts of the charges. In related developments, Justin Bieber has taken steps to separate himself from Diddy, particularly after old footage emerged and Bieber spoke about having had a “nightmare experience” with the music mogul (Source: IMDb).

Conclusion

Based on our investigation, the viral video claiming Justin Bieber will testify against P Diddy is manipulated content. The footage has been previously used in multiple AI-generated videos for various purposes, from memes to marketing materials. While Bieber has distanced himself from Diddy amid the ongoing trial, there is no credible evidence supporting claims that he will testify.
