The image, showing the modern figures in an old-timey setting, was shared on social media with captions claiming it was a past vision. However, Fact Crescendo Cambodia’s fact-checking revealed that the photo on Facebook was generated by AI.

On November 19, 2024, a Facebook user shared a post featuring a comparison between an old painting and a recent photo of Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dining aboard a private plane.

This post, which has gained attention online, was originally shared by a Facebook user who humorously stated, “How the heck did this 1721 painting by “Deitz Nuützen” predict the Trump-Elon-RFK McDonald’s in-flight dinner???  😂”.

The same photo, along with the identical claim, has also been observed and shared by another X user. This repetition highlights the viral nature of the image and its ability to spread across different platforms.

Below is a snapshot of a post on Threads on November 19, 2024, stating, “This 1721 painting by Deitz Nuützen predicted the Trump-Elon-RFK McDonalds dinner 🍽 🥘 It’s everything written there. Read the script carefully with think critically and act accordingly”.

Given the claim’s extensive dissemination and the considerable attention it has received from the internet community, we believed it was necessary to perform a fact-check on the above subject.

Fact Crescendo verified these images using Google Reverse Image Search and AI verification. 

Firstly, we reviewed the bio of the claim’s author on X (formerly Twitter), which described them as “founder mode // AI & America”. This revealed that the account is linked to a collection of AI-generated video content.

Our Fact Crescendo team also discovered that the photo is not genuine. After uploading the photo and link to the Hive Moderation website, we verified that the image was generated by artificial intelligence (AI) rather than being a real photograph of an actual event.

The results confirmed that the scene depicted in the photo was entirely created by AI technology, not captured in real life.

Similarly, we used TrueMedia, a website and app designed to verify whether text or images are created by artificial intelligence. The tool analyzed the photo and revealed that it was generated by AI. 

This indicates that the image was not a real photograph but instead a digitally created scene, further confirming our findings.
