A medical report by a doctor at Asiri Hospital was published on social media by the ‘Investigative Journalist’, with the title, “Anura has depression – Here is the evidence”. Below is the relevant description.

Due to that illness, he had decided not to participate in several rallies.

However, they noted that it was not a condition to be hospitalized and receive treatment. They also mentioned that the medical report was fake and that he did not receive treatment from Asiri Hospital.

The Asiri Hospital confirmed that the medical report that was circulated claiming that it was prescribed by a doctor at their hospital is a fabricated medical report.
