Factcrescendo Team also came across a viral video claiming to be an artificial woman created by the Chinese. However, our investigation found the claims far from reality and misleading the public. Let’s look at the claims first.

A viral video on social media said that China had created an artificial woman who can speak fluently in many languages and do all the household chores, as seen below.
That video went viral on Facebook.
The same claim was widely shared among WhatsApp users as well.
We decided to do a fact-check on this.
Fact Check
By using Invid-We-Verify technology, we were able to locate the original video of the viral claim. We found that the video was not a real creation or an artificial woman; it was only a part of a computer game.
Below is the original clip uploaded by the official PlayStation YouTube channel in May 2018, titled “Detroit: Become Human – Shorts: Chloe I PS4.”
So it’s clear that the clip was extracted from a video game called ‘Detroit – Become Human” made by Quantic Dream. Chloe, the artificial woman, is a character in this game.
